Tampa Bay Fishing Report 3/5/13

Fishing for the first part of the week will mean deep holes and canals in the morning and shallow sunny flats in the afternoon. Start in the residential canals first thing work the sunny side first. Pick baits that will get to the bottom and that you can work slowly. You can pick up the pace as the day goes on or as the bite dictates. Look for the Sheepshead bite to be the easiest followed by Trout. Later in the day you may find Redfish on the flat sunning themselves they have been very spooky for me lately so approach them in super stealth mode. If you can't get close enough to them post up and toss out some cut lady fish and let the Reds come to you.

So there it is get out and have fun fishing!
